My commitment to you
First of all, I will not charge you exorbitant fees! Secondly, I will help make your day fun and memorable by planning, with your input, the bespoke ceremony that you want. Finally, you can rely on me to accurately take care of all the paperwork, which could otherwise seem challenging. Overview Anything is possible when a couple is in love. My job is to make your special day as seamless and stress free as possible. So, well before the ceremony, I will need to meet and learn about you. You, in turn, need me to organise and prepare the paperwork, for there are non-negotiable legal procedures to follow. |

I will walk you through the documentation minefield, so you will know it is under control. All you need to do is decide what you want included in the ceremony. If you have no idea, don't despair because I can guide and advise you about options plus make suggestions, if you wish. We can arrange any size wedding, as long as you have me and two witnesses over 18, so the marriage can be legally witnessed and registered.
Weddings usually run for 15 to 20 minutes. You will be surprised how much we can say and do in that time, regardless of the venue! Add on time for the signing and witnessing of documents after the ceremony and then the newlywed introduction. All up, a maximum of 30 minutes should be allowed.

From 1 February 2024 the standard wedding ceremony cost is $560 incl. GST. If you prefer a shorter, no fuss and no frills wedding ceremony, you can choose what is called a "legals only" ceremony. The fee for that ceremony option is $450 incl. GST. These fees will apply until 31 Dec 2024. If you also want me to order your Official Marriage Certificate at the time of your marriage registration, so the bride or the groom can change her / his surname, the fee for that service is an additional $95, incl. postage and GST. Special discounts may be offered from time to time on my Northern Rivers Facebook Page. Also keep an eye on my Instagram Page, or you can phone or email me directly. See page 1! My wedding fees include round trip travel up to a total of 120kms from my home in Alstonvale. If round trip travel to and from your preferred wedding venue plus the initial meeting to sign the Notice of Intended Marriage and Declaration of No Legal Impediment total more than 120kms, the travel fee currently set by the ATO may be applied and charged at $0.78/km.
