Overview A naming ceremony, as an alternative to a baptism or similar religious christening, is a unique occasion to celebrate and welcome your child's entry to your circle of family and friends. It is an opportunity to acknowledge those who will have an important role in your child's development; and for everyone to offer their love and support for your baby’s future. |

Depending on the size of the group and location, a Naming Ceremony costs between $450 and $600. The fee covers all communications, meeting(s), round trip(s) total travel up to 120kms, the ceremony on the nominated day plus a certificate, if required for the godparent(s). If required travel for meetings and to the venue on the day of the service tallies more than 120kms, a travel fee for any excess may be applied at the ATO approved rate of $0.78/km.
